All Ages Summer Reading Contest 2026

at the Turner Free Library!

The 2026 summer reading theme is "Unearth A Story"! This theme underscores the joy of discovery that reading brings and that every person and every community have stories waiting to be found and shared – through books, programs, and local knowledge.

Dig in and read to win this summer with the Turner Free Library's annual summer reading contest! Collect a goal tracker at the library beginning June 22nd and start earning prizes.

How to participate:

  1. Collect a goal tracker at the library and set a reading goal for yourself - it could be minutes spent reading, number of pages, number of books, etc - the choice is yours!

  2. Complete your reading goal 5 times, writing the date for each time you met your reading goal.

  3. Met your reading goal 5 times? Congrats! Bring your completed bookmark to the Turner Free Library and get a raffle ticket to put towards one of our amazing prizes!

  4. Want more? You're our kind of reader! Pick up a new bookmark at the library and start tracking again! Just remember: all raffle tickets must be claimed by August 22nd.

  5. Prizes winners will be notified the week of August 24th!
