As part of the Turner Free Library’s ongoing efforts to support job seekers, we are excited to announce the launch of free career grab-and-go kits! The job seeker kits, which include a booklet and USB, are intended for those with limited digital literacy for whom the prospect of looking for jobs online is often intimidating. The kits include descriptions of what a resume is and how to write one, resume templates, list of recommended websites and books for job seekers available at the Turner Free Library, explanations of how to use the library’s digital resources, and contact information for local organizations that can assist with finding employment or with skills development. Kits are available for free at the Turner Free Library on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
The Grab-And-Go Kits for Job Seekers are part of the Turner Free Library’s continued efforts to provide career resources to the Randolph community. In addition to the kits, the library also offers free access to live, online career coaches and resume experts through the JobNow service.
